Hana is a character I'm testing, and please know her lore is a little bit funky as I flesh her out. I'm still not sure if I could write her well and she's still experimental.

For all that Hana shares through her smile and her craft, there are pieces of her life that remain obscured. Spoken of only in fragments or not at all. Her family’s fate is one such shadow; Though she believes them to be alive... the truth is far darker. Her twin sister is long dead. Her mother sold into misery, and her father’s betrayal lingers like a wound that never healed. None of this has reached Hana’s ears, and so she continues to wait for letters and whispers that paint a false picture of home.There are other mysteries, too. The voices that come to her unbidden. Sometimes tender, sometimes terrifying. They carry truths that sometimes even Hana does not understand. At times, they spill from her lips without unbidden, leaving those around her uneasy. Whether they are blessings, curses, or something far more complicated, Hana herself does not always know herself.Even her art holds its secrets. The charms, paintings, and talismans she creates seem to pulse with a life of their own, as though touched by unseen hands. Few realize how deeply her craft is bound to the spiritual echoes that follow her. Fewer still know the toll they may take.To those who meet her in Mor Dhona, she is gentle, sweet, and unassuming. Neighbors know her as a gifted tailor, a loyal friend, and a quiet presence at the heart of the community. Yet beneath that warmth lingers a web of mysteries, voices, visions, and truths she cannot fully name, threads no one in Revenant’s Toll has unraveled, not even Hana herself.

  Crafter contact.     Are you into the foreign and exotic goods within Mor Dhona? Do you know of the crafters behind some of them, or even heard rumors? Or, have specific commissions for such goods? There's multiple ways around this hook, let's have fun with it!

  Ishguardian Contacts.     There is this weaboo couple that Hana supplies, making special and specific commissions that keep her busy on the regular. If you are either Ishgardian or from the surrounding areas,, might you know of this overly eccentric couple? Maybe have shipped, guarded the shipment, or something else along this hook?

  Healer.     Because this isn't an easy one (lol). Are in need of someone with her expertise and no one else is around? She wouldn't be the type that would go out to do the job, but if someone is in need and she's there, or no one else is around she will come running.

  Eastern Medicine.     Eastern and Western very much differs, and with the Doman refugees within Mor Dhona there is bound to be a practitioner of eastern medicines. She'd studied briefly under a girl around her age, trading pretty dresses and things of her own for the knowledge. Though, she very much adheres and respects Western as well.

  Other ideas!.     Since she's still in the early stages of being revamped, I don't have much. So any ideas or thoughts I'm super open to chat! Please feel free to message me and we can hash something out.

  Talisman maker.     Hana makes the most effective talisman that are known to those in the area. It is said that it's like there is a living entity within, one that died before they could protect what mattered. And now in the afterlife, were awarded a second chance to try again. Doing everything to not fail again.

  Eastern Bun?     While the race isn't common in the east, that she came with and was a part of the Doman refugees. That she has the same slant to her eyes, and that everything about her screams she's of the east... she is still a Viera. Strange rumors brew on her appearance as well as the spooky and awkwardness of the character. This is even before the more wild ones with the voices...

  Clairvoyance.     Have you had someone pass that there was something unresolved between you and them? Are you unsure of something coming up and have been all but praying for guidance? There is a rumor that all you would need to do is find the hidden Viera within the keeps walls of Mor Dhona, that if you could find her that you'll have your answers. Even if they aren't what you were looking for.

  Strange powers.      This one would need to be discussed. But, there might be a rumor or one might have seen the Viera practicing strange magics. Having a paint brush for a weapon, summoning things and casting strange magics. And, that the Viera has an eastern flair? Things that she'd not want to get out, that she does her best to keep discreet. This would involve OOC discussion.

Patient and steady, she guided Hana’s craft with a calming presence that made the world feel less overwhelming. Though she rarely spoke of her own past, Hana’s friendship became one of the few safe spaces she allowed herself. Their bond grew naturally, shaped by comfort rather than grand gestures, built on shared silences, mutual trust, and the grounding rituals of daily life. Their bond feels simple on the surface, yet is gentle, steady, and deeply grounding.
